Chief Operating Officer.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee all internal functions, allowing the President/CEO to focus on external matters such as fundraising, public relations, and partnerships.

As College Success Arizona looks to accelerate growth and impact, the Board of Directors and CEO seeks a mission-focused and seasoned strategist to lead a high-performance culture among a diverse and talented staff and a program-focused management team. The COO must help others deliver measurable, cost-effective results that make the College Success Arizona vision a reality. The successful COO will bring efficient and effective systems to increase the overall productivity of the organization, and, at the same time, enable team members to independently lead programs and initiatives at the center of our mission.

The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the President/CEO.

Executive Director – Achieve60AZ

Achieve60AZ, a statewide community-owned initiative, comprised of an independent Alliance of over 70 community, business, philanthropic, nonprofit, and education organizations, has entered into an independent/long-term partnership with College Success Arizona, to oversee the initiative’s operations.

To begin that process, College Success Arizona is now recruiting an Executive Director to oversee the Achieve60AZ initiative’s operations.

Achieve60AZ is fueled by a grassroots effort to make Arizona more competitive through the power of education. The organization’s vision is that Arizona has a diverse, well-educated, highly-skilled workforce participating in a thriving economy. Its mission is to advance the postsecondary attainment of Arizonans by acting as a catalyst for collaboration, public awareness, public policy, and data-informed planning and measurement. The initial action of the Alliance was to set a statewide attainment goal for 60 percent of Arizona adults age 25 to 64 to hold a professional certificate or college degree by 2030.

The Executive Director will lead and coordinate all activities of a statewide Alliance of highly engaged individuals, organizations, and corporations that commit to helping the state achieve its goal of ensuring that 60 percent of adults attain a postsecondary degree and are prepared for work and life. The Executive Director will work closely with the Achieve60AZ Board and Leadership Council to implement strategies of the organization, and to develop and promote major statewide goals and strategies to move to Arizona toward 60% postsecondary attainment. Reporting to the College Success Arizona President and CEO, the Executive Director, will oversee all staff activity, public relationships and external partnership engagement activities of Achieve60AZ and will take the lead in developing and implementing the organization’s high-level objectives, including establishing and operating the new organization.
