Director of Arizona College Access Network
As Director of AzCAN, Linda helps member organizations stay connected – to developments in the field, to educational opportunities, and to one another. Her role allows multiple opportunities to promote the work of college access and success professionals in Arizona, through success stories as well as statewide data.
Linda has been the director of the Arizona College Access Network since 2013. She came to the position with a 25-year career in education including 12 years of teaching. Before joining AzCAN Linda administered dual enrollment and summer bridge programs at GateWay Community College, giving her hands-on experience in college access programming.
Linda has served as a founding member of the Valley of the Sun Community Diaper Bank and a member of the Phoenix Workforce Connection board. She was a member of Valley Leadership Class 28 and continues her involvement in Valley Leadership activities and the community. She is also on advisory groups for ACT, NorthBridge College Success Program, and the City of Phoenix Youth Initiatives Committee.
Linda holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Educational Media and Computers, both from Arizona State University.
