En Español

Did COVID-19 wipe out your college plans after your graduation from high school?
Earn a $1,000 scholarship to kickstart your postsecondary education.

We know starting college can be scary.
Figuring out where you want to go, what you want to study, how to pay for it, and every other decision that comes along with going to college can make starting your postsecondary education seem daunting, even without the added pressure of a pandemic.
We’re here to help!
Through the Helios Adelante Scholars Initiative – created in partnership with Helios Education Foundation and our other community partners – we are working to re-engage young adults in pursuing a higher education.
If accepted, not only will you be awarded an incentive scholarship of $1,000, you will also be paired with a community partner who will help you through the college application and financial aid process.

You Are eligible if You:

  • Graduated from an Arizona high school in 2020
  • Entering college for the first time in fall 2021
  • Enrolling in an accredited college or university at least half-time
  • Completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or are non-FAFSA eligible

Students will be awarded a one-time, non-renewable award of $1,000 that can used for tuition, books, or room and board. There are also opportunities for additional institutional aid that students will receive help identifying and pursing.

If you are interested in learning more about the scholarship and you are eligible to apply, you can schedule a 15-minute meeting with one of our team members to learn more about the opportunities that await you.
