Phoenix, Arizona – College Success Arizona, an organization leading the way to increase Arizona’s college graduation rates by providing financial and other support to Arizona’s low-income students, welcomes Richard C. Daniel, Ph.D. as Chief Operating Officer.

Dr. Richard Daniel brings a long history of working to improve education outcomes for students, particularly first-generation and low-income students. Daniel was born in Superior, Arizona, where his father worked in the copper mines. Daniel returned to ASU to earn both his Master of Education, in Higher Education Administration, and Doctor of Philosophy, in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.

“I am eager to join College Success Arizona and support the statewide collaboration among K-12, higher education, and the civic and business sectors,” said Daniel. “College Success Arizona’s efforts to elevate higher education are essential to improve the prosperity and quality of life for the residents of Arizona.”

Daniel’s first day with College Success Arizona was January 16.
